Estimates, not quotes

All MySolarScores, system sizes, savings, and payback figures are illustrative estimates generated from clearly-labeled, transparent assumptions. They are not quotes, contracts, bids, or guarantees of actual cost, production, or savings. Your real results depend on your actual electricity rate, local solar resource, roof condition, equipment, installer, and any applicable incentives.

No assumed utility rates or incentives

We do not invent your utility's rate. Annual usage is derived from your monthly bill using a clearly-labeled national-average placeholder rate. The federal residential solar credit is assumed at $0 for systems installed after December 31, 2025, because the former 30% credit ended for those systems. State and local incentives are not included; check DSIRE and your utility for current programs.
